The first outside Greece for the EMST National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens collection in documenta 14 in Kassel, Germany, .
Fridericianum, traditionally the central exhibition space for every documenta, was the first public museum in Europe and the first parliamentary building in Germany (short-lived).
The presentation of the collection preserves its international range, also emphasizing the presence of pioneering Greek artists, re-examining and highlighting their national and international course.
The title (actually meaning gift in return) expresses mutual respect between the two institutions, dealing with concepts such as transaction, loan, sharing and offering.
