One of the main pillars of the city's overseas visibility, Travel Trade Athens this year coincides with 2 extraordinary momentums :
1) the significant tourist dynamics developed by Athens, surpassing every record of arrivals, which according to the statistics is expected to reach 5,000,000 visitors.
2) awarding the city as the Emerging Cultural Destination for 2017 from the Leading Culture Destinations Awards.
Additionally, it is the first time that the city's cultural organisations participate in a coordinated way in such a dynamic framework, promoting contemporary Greek culture beyond the city's borders. The 44 members of Athens Culture Net are present at the event, actively participating.
