July 24, 1974 of the only photojournalist who recorded the invasion of the tank at the Athens Polytechnic School (Polytechneio) Aristotelis Sarrikostas, from 22 to 28 July 2021 at the Cultural Center "Melina" of the Municipality of Athens
The photography exhibition of Aristotle Sarrikostas is a historical retrospective with more than 150 documentary photographs from the period 1963-1974. Among other things, you will have the opportunity to see snapshots from the royal family, the demonstrations, the 7-year junta of the colonels, the group trials, the deportations, the Law School, the Polytechnic and how we reached to the collapse of the junta, the return of Konstantinos Karamanlis from Paris and the establishment of the Democratic State in our homeland.
