The Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University (PEEMPIP) was founded in 2004.
PEEMPIP’s mission is to support professional translators and to increase awareness about the many facets of their work.
To do this, it organises conferences, meetings, workshops and actively participates in the Thessaloniki International Book Fair since 2015.
In 2018, PEEMPIP organized a series of translation events, the Translation Month, under the auspices of Athens World Book Capital 2018.
